We are so proud to support Ginny Martin as she continues to honor her late husband, Trooper Zach Martin. Martin was diagnosed Dec. 22, 2022, with Ewing sarcoma bone cancer. During every step of his battle with the disease, he brought honor, dignity and a positive attitude to the fight. The PBF was proud to join in that fight as thousands of dollars were raised to assist him and his family. Sadly, Trooper Martin passed away in February 2024. Ginny now wants to help other officers through the PBF. The North Carolina Police Benevolent Association, the Police Benevolent Foundation, and the Donnie Grady at Washington NC Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership to bring the Jeep Go Topless Day event to Washington, N.C., to honor Trooper Martin.
