Supporters

The Police Benevolent Foundation would like to thank its supporters and we encourage the community to show your support for these businesses that have given back to their communities.  As a public charity, we depend on the volunteerism and contributions of concerned citizens and corporations to aid in the development of programs and services for our law enforcement professionals. In 2007, we have raised more than $250,000 for the families of fallen officers and presented a total of 14 scholarships to students pursuing college degrees. We could not have done this without your help and we have many ways to get involved in the process.

Ways to Get Involved

Participate in a PBF Fundraiser: The Foundation hosts various fundraising activities and events throughout out fiscal year. The funds raised are used to support our initiatives, which include aid to the families of fallen law enforcement officers, disaster relief for law enforcement, and scholarships for youth pursuing degrees in criminology. Corporate Scholarship Fund: Sponsor an annual scholarship for a selected student (s) each year. The scholarship can be named for the sponsoring organization. This would require a long term commitment to the program. (We ask at least 5 years and at least $1000 per year).

Donate: Donate to the annual fund in support of fallen officers and officers in need of disaster relief. Your annual gift will qualify you as one of our corporate supporters with a listing and recognition of your respective donor level. In addition, your support would be noted on the official PBF website, the Blue Print (quarterly newsletter of the PBF), and our annual donor report.

Special Event Sponsor: Support our efforts by participating in our annual banquet in support of fallen law enforcement officers and the sacrifices made by both the officer and their family members.

Volunteer: Serve as a volunteer advisory board member to aid in the planning and development of new programs and activities to serve the profession of law enforcement and the officers we represent.

Matching (Employee) Gift Program: Participate in our employee contribution program and allow the Foundation to make a presentation to your staff and employees for monthly payroll/credit card deductions. Consider matching your employee contributions.

Good Search: Use Good Search, a yahoo powered search engine, to perform all your internet searches.  This program is designed to aid non-profit organization’s fundraising efforts by paying .01 per search to the selected charity. The Police Benevolent Foundation is a registered charity and would receive a year end donation based on the number of searches performed.
